Uno Rules for Beginners
Basic Uno Rules
The way to play uno is also easy, each player is dealt 7 cards. The first player places a card on the deck and starts the round. The next player must place a card of the same color or number as the first card. If the player does not have a matching card, they must draw a card from the deck. If the card drawn matches the card on the table, the player can place this card. If not, the next player will take the next turn.
Other Uno Rules
“Stacking” Rule: When a “Draw Two” or “Wild Draw Four” card is placed on the table, the next player can place another “Draw Two” or “Wild Draw Four” card to pass the turn to the next player, and the next player will have to draw the corresponding number of cards.
“Jump-in” Rule: A player can play a card immediately when it is their turn if they have a card of the same color or number as the card on the table. This rule is often applied in the two-player version of UNO.
“Seven-o” Rule: When a 7 card is placed on the table, the player must exchange cards with another player in the round. In this version, players are not allowed to place a 0 card.
“All Play” Rule: When a “Wild Draw Four” card is placed on the table, all players will have to draw four cards from the deck and will be skipped. This version allows all players to participate except the player who placed the card.
“Progressive UNO” rules: When a “Wild Draw Four” card is placed on the table, the next player must draw four cards from the deck and skip their turn, but then they are allowed to place one card. If the card is a “Wild Draw Four”, the next player must draw five cards and skip their turn, and the round continues like that.
